Which domain is "yours"? my.domain.net? And, is your machine the one that is causing the "Relaying denied" message?

If so, your "my_destination" variable is likely not set properly, or you need to define the delivery mechanism in the transposts file.

Can you provide more detail about your configuration, including client machines (if any), how you're sending mail, your domain name, PF configs, etc.

To Answer you questions:

1) "my.domain.net" is "mine"

2) This therefore implies that it is my machine throwing up the error hence "while talking to my.domain.net."

3) There are no client machines, postifx is configured to deliver mail directly, i sent that e-mail that got sent back from my normal ISP account, i am using a domain name provided by dyndns.org and the mail entries are setup correctly. The rest of the config, is as far as i am aware default.

Thanks Paul

"make sure this is just something like mydomain.net", thats a little problem, as i am using dyndns to act as my dns and forward my traffic, i have a subdomain of dyndns.org.  can i put the full subdomain i.e site.dyndns.org

Thanks
Absolutely. In fact, that's how mine is set up. You want it set that way so that the line that says "myorigin = $mydomain" will put the right information after the @ on e-mail's originated on this machine.

Hmm, having few problems with Windows 98 and Linux co-existing at the moment (when i install RH9 it makes the entire contents of the windows directory dissapear, then when i reinstall windows, i cant boot RH9 even with the boot disk!!!! :( never had this problem before!!!) Getting a separate computer soon to put the server on.... Til then (19th of June) I wont be doing much regarding it. (Grrrr!!!).

Thanks for your help.

When I get it back up and running I will try your suggestions.
